If you’ve heard correctly, one of the most important species for fly tying has its days numbered.
Today in the morning we were surprised by one of the breeders of the Gallo de León, that the city council communicated this horrible news to her.
La Criadora told us that she wanted to transfer her exploitation of Gallo de León to a younger couple, wanting to work in that sector and support this breed of Rooster.
When they tell him in the town hall that by 2021 the licenses to breed Gallos de León are withdrawn.
The Gallos de León have their days numbered
If we think that there are already few breeders of Roosters, who fight for this species, and that the species alone are flooding into the danger of extinction.
And to this we add the withdrawal of licenses to breed, it means the end of the Rooster of León.
Also knowing that only in the Curueño valley do they have the brightness that characterizes them
The Breeders of the Rooster of León
They are people that I really admire, their dedication to this species is 110%, we speak of a Rooster centuries old and that thanks to these wonderful people is still with us.
The Feathers of the Lion Cock
They are one of the most important feathers in the world, appreciated by all Fly Eaters, and thanks to this species many fishermen carry joys when it comes to going to the river.
Are we going to let the Gallo de León disappear?
I really don’t know what you think, but I can do my best to help the breeders of Gallo de León not to end this beautiful and special species.
So I encourage you all to share this post on Social Networks, and leave a comment at the bottom of this post as I have done.
Anyway, this Friday there will be an article in the Diario de León talking about this topic.
Let’s share and support the breeders of the Rooster of Leon and especially the Rooster of Leon.
